Closing Conference

This was a unique opportunity to hear international experts on the management of invasive species sharing their knowledge. The RINSE project closed in September 2014 - this event celebrated the results of the project and the legacy it leaves behind.

RINSE (Reducing the Impacts of Non-native Species in Europe) focused on improving the management of invasive non-native species (INS) across Belgium, England, France and the Netherlands. This event highlighted the key achievements of the project and shared its success, with international experts summarising their experiences and the new knowledge gained. 

The conference covered key topics in the management of freshwater and terrestrial invasive species such as: 

• Targeting and prioritisation of species
• Training and awareness raising
• Case studies and field trial projects
